We’re excited to invite our junior players to the 2026 YS Badminton Junior Internal Competition — a fun and friendly day of competition designed to give players valuable match experience, build confidence and celebrate their progress.

The tournament is open to current YS Badminton junior players across Levels 1, 1+, 2 and 3. With eight courts at Active Badminton Center, we’re preparing a level-appropriate competition experience where every player can enjoy meaningful time on court.

Who Can Take Part?

The tournament is open to current YS Badminton junior players in Levels 1, 1+, 2 and 3.

Players will be grouped according to their training level, with match formats and draws designed to suit each group. This allows players to compete in an environment that is both challenging and appropriate for their stage of development.

A Day of Competition & Community

This tournament is about more than the final score.

It’s an opportunity for our junior players to put their training into practice, experience match play and continue building confidence on court. It is also a chance for families to come along, support their players and connect with the wider YS Badminton community.

We encourage parents and family members to come along and celebrate the progress our junior players have made throughout the year.

Prizes Worth Playing For

We’re preparing a prize lineup that recognises more than just results.

Prizes will celebrate standout performances, determination and player progress throughout the tournament.

Competition Format

The tournament will be run according to training level, with players competing in singles matches suited to their stage of development. Level 1 and Level 1+ students will play half-court singles to 15 points, while Level 2 and Level 3 students will play full-court singles to 21 points.

All current YS Badminton students are encouraged to join and take the opportunity to put their training into practice in a fun and supportive competition environment.

Places are limited, so we encourage families to register early to secure their child’s place. The entry fee is $25 per player.
