Team Format
- Teams of 3 players
- 2 Male
- 1 Female
- Each team tie consists of:
- Mixed Doubles 1
- Mixed Doubles 2
- Men’s Doubles
- The first team to win 2 of the 3 matches wins the tie.
- Group Stage: All three matches will be played.
- Knockout Stage: The tie concludes once a team wins two matches.
Competition Format
- Stage 1 – Round Robin
- Stage 2 – Knockout Finals
The format may be adjusted depending on the number of entries.
Player Eligibility
- Maximum one (1) B Grade player per team.
- Remaining players must be C Grade and/or D Grade.
- Player grading will be assessed using QBA grading records (as at 31 July 2026) together with recent tournament results.
- The Tournament Organiser reserves the right to determine player eligibility.
Tournament Rules
- BWF Laws of Badminton apply unless otherwise stated.
- 21-point rally scoring.
- No deuce (first to 21 wins the game).
- Best of three games.
- Warm-up limited to 2 minutes.
- Players must report promptly when called.
Team Registration
The Team Captain should complete one registration for the entire team.
During registration you will be asked to provide:
- Team name
- Team captain’s details
- Player names
- Player grades
- Team line-up
Important Information
By registering, participants agree to:
- Follow all tournament rules and referee decisions.
- Allow photographs and videos to be used for promotional purposes.
- Participate at their own risk.
- Wear appropriate badminton attire and non-marking shoes.
