YS Badminton is proud to celebrate our players and coach who represented Queensland at the Australian U13 & U17 National Championships.
Representing Queensland
Congratulations to Grayson, who was selected for the Queensland U17 Team, and Ray, who represented Queensland in the U13 Team. Both teams finished 5th overall in the team event after competing hard against some of Australia’s top junior players.
A special congratulations to Leo, who was selected as the U13 Queensland Team Coach. We’re proud to see our YS community represented both on court and in a coaching role at the national level.
Taking on the Individual Events
We’d also like to congratulate Sarah and Charlotte for competing in the individual events and challenging themselves against some of the country’s best young players.
Ray, Sarah and Charlotte are all part of our Level 3 Junior Group Training Program. Seeing them continue to test themselves at a higher level reflects the progress they have made and their commitment to developing their game.
Keep Working, Keep Improving
Competing at national championships is a valuable opportunity for young players to gain experience, learn from challenging matches and identify areas for further improvement.
We’re proud of Grayson, Ray, Leo, Sarah and Charlotte for their efforts and achievements, and we look forward to seeing them continue their development.
With Term 4 underway, it’s time to get back on court, keep training hard and continue working towards the next goal.
