The Levaron Group YS Badminton Junior Internal Competition was held on Saturday, 12 September 2026, bringing together YS Badminton juniors for a day of competition, learning and sportsmanship at Active Badminton Centre.
Now in its second year, the Junior Internal Competition provides YS players with an opportunity to experience a competitive tournament environment while competing alongside their training partners and putting their skills into practice.
The competition featured players across YS Badminton’s different training levels, with matches designed to suit each group’s stage of development.
A Day of Competition and Growth
Players from Levels 1 and 1+ competed in half-court singles, with matches played to 15 points without setting. Players in Levels 2 and 3 competed in full-court singles, with matches played to 21 points without setting.
Beyond the results, the competition gave players valuable experience in match preparation, scoring, court movement and managing the challenges of competitive play.
For many of our younger players, it was also an opportunity to step outside their regular training environment and experience the responsibility and excitement that comes with playing a tournament match.
We were proud to see players demonstrate determination, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the day, while supporting and encouraging their fellow YS players between matches.

Building Confidence Through Competition
At YS Badminton, we believe competition is an important part of a player’s development. While winning is one part of competing, the experience also helps players develop confidence, decision-making, resilience and the ability to perform under pressure.
Internal competitions such as this allow players to gain these experiences in a familiar environment, alongside their coaches and training partners.
We would like to thank Levaron Group for supporting this year’s Junior Internal Competition and helping us create more opportunities for our juniors to compete and develop.
Thank you also to all YS coaches, team, families and players who contributed to a successful event.
Congratulations once again to every player who took part in the 2026 Levaron Group YS Badminton Junior Internal Competition. We look forward to seeing our players continue to grow, compete and shine!
