Strong Performances at Brisbane Singles & Mixed Challenge

Strong Performances at Brisbane Singles & Mixed Challenge
Published on
30th March 2026

It was a big weekend at the Brisbane Singles & Mixed Challenge, with players and coaches putting in strong performances across both days.

Friday night’s OAXD event was full of tough matches, but what stood out most was the effort from our coaches — putting in a full day of coaching and then stepping on court to compete at night. Leading by example, they showed real commitment and fighting spirit, with AJ and Asaka finishing on top as OAXD champions.

On Saturday, our students stepped up and took on the challenge. It was especially great to see our juniors competing confidently against older and more experienced players, showing real determination and growth on court.

Results from the weekend:

OAXD Champions: AJ (with Asaka)
DWS Champion: Charlotte C
DMS Runner-Up: Aurelius

Awesome effort from everyone involved — great matches, great attitude, and plenty to be proud of!
